Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as the “Agreement”) govern the services provided by Ultimate Precision K-9 LLC (hereinafter referred to as “Ultimate Precision K-9,” “Company,” “Trainer,” or “We/Us”) and the Client (hereinafter referred to as “Client,” “Owner,” or “You”). By engaging our services, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms in their entirety.

1. Dog Health and Vaccinations

​

1.1. The Client represents that their dog is in good physical and behavioral health, free of illnesses, parasites, fleas, or any condition that could pose a risk to other animals, Trainers, or humans.

1.2. It is the Client’s responsibility to ensure that their dog is up-to-date on vaccinations, including but not limited to:

• Rabies

• Distemper

• Parvovirus

• Bordetella

1.3. Proof of vaccination may be requested at any time before or during services. Failure to provide documentation may result in service refusal without refund.

1.4. Dogs exhibiting symptoms of illness, such as coughing, vomiting, diarrhea, or lethargy, will not be permitted to participate in training or socialization sessions until cleared by a veterinarian.

1.5. In the event of any contagious condition discovered during training, the Client agrees to notify Ultimate Precision K-9 immediately and cease all services until the dog is medically cleared.

2. Training Goals and Methodology

​

2.1. Ultimate Precision K-9 utilizes a balanced training methodology, blending positive reinforcement with corrective measures as appropriate. All training plans are tailored to the specific needs of each dog and Client.

2.2. Training objectives may include but are not limited to:

• Behavioral modifications, including aggression, reactivity, or separation anxiety.

• Basic obedience commands such as sit, stay, down, and recall.

• Advanced training requests, such as off-leash control or task-specific training.

2.3. The Client acknowledges that training is a collaborative effort. Results are dependent on the Client’s consistent application of techniques outside of sessions. Ultimate Precision K-9 does not guarantee specific outcomes as all dogs respond differently.

2.4. During the assessment, the Trainer will develop a personalized training plan. The Client will receive progress updates and recommendations as training progresses.

3. Behavioral Assessments and Safety

​

3.1. Behavioral assessments are required prior to participation in any group or pack setting. The Trainer reserves the right to disqualify dogs exhibiting extreme aggression, anxiety, or unsafe behaviors.

3.2. Dogs requiring additional behavioral intervention may be recommended for:

• Private sessions

• Specialized equipment, such as muzzles or training collars

• Additional evaluations to determine suitability for group activities

3.3. Ultimate Precision K-9 is not liable for behavioral regressions caused by inconsistent reinforcement of training techniques by the Client.

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

​

4.1. Cancellation requests must be submitted at least 48 hours before the scheduled session. Cancellations within this window will not incur penalties.

4.2. Late cancellations and fees:

30% of the session fee for cancellations made between 48 and 1 hour before the appointment. 100% of the session fee for cancellations made less than 1 hour before the appointment.

4.3. Service deposits are non-refundable but may be credited toward future sessions at the discretion of Ultimate Precision K-9.

4.4. Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late may forfeit the session, and no refunds will be provided.

5. Risk of Dog Fights and Injuries

​

5.1. The Client acknowledges that there are inherent risks in group or pack training environments, including potential dog fights or injuries.

 

5.2. In the event of injury caused by the Client’s dog:

    •    The Client assumes full financial responsibility for veterinary care or damages to other dogs, Trainers, or property.

5.3. Ultimate Precision K-9 implements strict safety protocols to minimize risks but cannot guarantee the prevention of all incidents.

5.4. Hold Harmless Agreement:

If the Client’s dog causes property damage, or bites or injures any dog, animal, or person (including but not limited to Trainers and Trainer’s agents) during or after the term of this Agreement, the Client agrees to pay all resulting losses and damages suffered or incurred. The Client also agrees to defend and indemnify Ultimate Precision K-9 LLC, its Trainers, and Trainer’s agents from any resulting claims, demands, lawsuits, losses, costs, or expenses, including attorney fees. If the Client’s dog is injured in a fight or any other manner during or after the term of the Agreement, the Client assumes all risks and agrees that Ultimate Precision K-9 LLC and its Trainers will not be held responsible for any resulting injuries, losses, damages, costs, or expenses.

5.5. Release of Liability:

Ultimate Precision K-9 LLC is not responsible for the loss, injury, or death of any dog(s) or for any damage of any kind to your dog. By enrolling in services or signing this agreement, the Client acknowledges that they release Ultimate Precision K-9 LLC from all liability for the loss, injury, or death of their dog. This includes any and all claims, liabilities, losses, or expenses (including attorney fees) arising out of the death, injury, or loss of any dog being trained or socialized by Ultimate Precision K-9 LLC.

5.6. Trainer Risk and Indemnity:

Ultimate Precision K-9 Trainers, employees, agents, and contractors assume the risks associated with working in training and socialization environments. The Client agrees that Trainers will not be personally held liable for incidents occurring during the course of reasonable and professional training or socialization activities.

6. Photo and Video Release

​

6.1. The Client grants Ultimate Precision K-9 permission to photograph, film, or record their dog during training sessions for promotional, educational, or social media purposes.

6.2. The Client agrees that such materials may be used without compensation and waives any claims relating to privacy or use of likeness.

6.3. If the Client wishes to opt out, written notification must be submitted before the first session.

7. Payment Terms

​

7.1. Payment for services is due in full 24 hours prior to the scheduled session.

7.2. Accepted payment methods include:

• Credit/Debit Cards

• Venmo

• Zelle

• Cash

7.3. Failure to remit payment within the required timeframe may result in service cancellation.

7.4. Packages and bundles are non-refundable and must be used within the specified timeframe. Unused sessions will not be refunded.

8. Emergency Veterinary Care

​

8.1. In the event of a medical emergency during training or socialization:

Ultimate Precision K-9 will attempt to contact the Client immediately. If the Client cannot be reached, the Trainer is authorized to seek veterinary care at the Client’s expense.

 

9. Force Majeure

​

9.1. Ultimate Precision K-9 shall not be held liable for cancellations or delays caused by events beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, public health crises, or government restrictions.

10. Liability Waiver

​

10.1. The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Ultimate Precision K-9, its employees, agents, and contractors from all claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from:

• Injuries caused by their dog to other animals, property, or individuals.

• Injuries sustained by their dog during training or socialization sessions.

10.2. Ultimate Precision K-9 shall not be liable for:

• Self-inflicted injuries by the Client’s dog, including but not limited to ingestion of foreign objects, fence jumping, or leash pulling.

• Behavioral issues not disclosed prior to training.

 

11. Refund Policy

11.1. Refunds for unused services will only be issued under the following conditions:

• The Client cancels the service package within 7 days of purchase.

• The refund request is approved in writing by Ultimate Precision K-9.

11.2. Refunds will not be granted for:

• Completed or partially completed sessions.

• Behavioral outcomes not achieved due to inconsistent reinforcement by the Client.

 

12. Privacy Policy

​

12.1. Ultimate Precision K-9 is committed to protecting Client privacy. Any personal information collected will only be used for service-related communication and will not be shared without consent.

12.2. Clients may opt out of receiving promotional communications by contacting support@upk9la.com.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

​

13.1. This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California.

13.2. Any disputes arising under this Agreement shall first be addressed through mediation. If unresolved, the dispute will be settled in Los Angeles County courts.
